From KOR to core – therapy that centres you.

My approach integrates evidence-based CBT with third-wave therapies such as ACT and DBT-informed skills, alongside trauma-informed and somatic awareness. I also draw on Schema Therapy concepts to help make sense of deeper emotional patterns and unmet needs. This allows us to work not only with thoughts and behaviours, but with the underlying emotional and physiological processes that influence how you respond to the world.
My aim is to make these frameworks clear, practical, and empowering. Therapy focuses on increasing choice, safety, and self-understanding, while building skills you can continue to use independently. I support clients not only to manage symptoms more effectively, but to understand themselves more deeply and develop greater self-compassion — leaving therapy with tools, clarity, and the confidence to apply what you've learned beyond our work together.

I'm a CBT Therapist working in both NHS and private practice, specialising in complex emotional needs. I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in High Intensity CBT from the University of Exeter and have worked in UK mental health services since 2016.
My experience spans NHS Talking Therapies, crisis teams, inpatient wards (PICU), and emergency response services. I've also held leadership roles as a team lead and clinical supervisor, supporting practitioners and contributing to service development.
What Makes This Different?
Evidence-based CBT that works with your nervous system, not against it.Many clients notice meaningful shifts within the first 3 sessions. This happens when we combine standard CBT with nervous system awareness and neuroscience education. My NHS outcomes: 85% recovery rate (vs 50% target), 95% reliable improvement. My approach creates early momentum through:
- Understanding why - neuroscience education that makes sense of your responses
- Practical skills - CBT techniques you can use immediately
- Regulation tools - nervous system work that makes change sustainable
- True collaboration - you're the expert on your experience, I'm the expert on the techniquesThe goal? Building your toolkit for independence, not therapy dependency.
Some roles carry a heavier emotional load than others. In healthcare, emergency services, and other high-pressure settings, intense or traumatic events are part of the work — but that doesn’t mean we’re meant to carry them alone.I offer gentle, trauma-informed debriefing sessions to help teams process difficult incidents in a safe, contained space. These are supportive, psychoeducational group sessions — not individual therapy or formal clinical assessments — designed to help teams pause, ground, and begin to make sense of what has happened.
I draw on principles from Polyvagal Theory, CBT, compassion-focused CBT and DBT to create a supportive space where people feel heard and seen.In presence, we process. In connection, we recover. Support is part of resilience.

The space I am offering isn’t meant to be a replacement for what’s out there — it’s what’s often missing.
Sometimes systems can only offer part of what we need.
I aim to offer what often gets left out: time, safety, attunement, and the space to feel like a person — not a problem to solve.
This is a space where your nervous system leads, your story is honoured, and nothing is rushed.
Simply from KOR to core – interventions that centres you.

I am here because you shouldn’t have to fight to be seen.
I am also here to tell you, you were never broken and help you come to yourself.
